Wednesday, July 6th- Rome, Italy

Today we woke up at 5:45 so we coudl get to the Vatican extra early and see as many artworks as we could in our short morning there. We started our at a museum and ended up marveling at the amazing sistine chapel, built 1471-1484 and painted by Michelangelo in the early Renassance years. The ceildings and paintings were absolutely amazing. It was something I will remember for the rest of my life. Next, we walked a short way to our lunch and walked back to the Vatican and into St. Peter's square. We didn't have time to go into the Bacilica but we did get to see where the Pope preaches mass. Then we took some pictures and had free time to shop in the Vatican or in Rome. After an hour we walked back to the coach and drove to Tuscany. When we got to Tuscany, we drove up a huge hill to our hotel, the Santa Barbara. Next, we ate dinner and waled round our delegation's villa. We had 10;30 curgew and I was asleep by the 11 roomcheck.
